Angled view of Hamtel design

Everyman

Class design

The basis of this design calls on the constant relevancy of the script and is inspired by years of architecture. Nothing was to be too specific or clear.

Arcadia

Class design

This play does not need a distracting set and so it is fairly simple. I was set on a room with real corners over a more traditional open box set. The walls are green to call on arcadia itself and the beauty found there.

Hamlet

Class design

This design was my rendition of a cross between a modern design and traditional spakespeare. The setting is heavly inspired by the globe theater, and manipulated into fitting in my school's theater. I was also inspired by the phrase "Something rotten in the state of Denmark."

Bacchae

Class design

My idea for this play was just to give a subtle space with lots of levels to allow the actions and words to reign.

Willy Wonka

Class design

The basis of this design is a spining round platform with three walls attached at the center that can spin independently of each other and the floor, or with the floor.

The Bald Soprano

Class design

My idea of the Bald Soprano focased on not being able to trust anything and the idea of nothing being as it seems.
